Quick Summary

  • Hiked from the Julierpass to Grevasalvas in the Engadin.
  • Was easily accessible by public transit:
    • Took the PostAuto from Chur to Julier, La Veduta.
    • Returned from the bus stop Plaun da Lej via St. Moritz.
  • From the Julierpass, there was only a single path that lead southwards towards the lake Leg Grevasalvas.
  • After the lake, there was again only a single path that lead further down the valley towards the Fuorcla Grevasalvas.
  • Stopped for a quick lunch break at the top of the Fuorcla.
  • Descended down the other side of the Fuorcla and then headed towards the village of Grevasalvas.
  • From Grevasalvas down to the Plaun da Lej consisted of gravel roads.
