Quick Summary

  • Accessible by public transit:
    • Took the PostAuto to Vallun Chafuol P3
    • Returned with the train from Zernez
  • My intention was to do this route as a trail run
    • I found the route to be too steep (both on the uphills and downhills) do be runnable, so it turned into more of a speed hike
  • Most of the route is in the National Park and offers incredible views of the surrounding peaks
  • I found the trickiest spot of the route to be on the western side of the Fuorcla Murter
    • This section was secured with a steel cable
